INTROduction Along with God's Word, real and genuine are two words that Jerome (aka 3rd E' Ryz) stands on in his day to day life despite the battles and struggles of today's world. He longs to take the Word God shares with him and find ways to share it with all ages in a real, genuine, and loving way. He firmly believes that God is never false or has ulterior motives when dealing with him. "God always keeps it real. If we can't duplicate that to others then we won't be able to reach lost souls or believers desiring to mature in Christ," Jerome states. CREATion Stage Name - Jerome's stage name comes from the night he met with God. It stands for God is his 3rd Eye and on the 3rd day He rose, meaning 3rd Eye Rise but pronounced and written 3rd E' Ryz. He knows that God watches over him and sees the things he can't. That is why he always tries to allow God to be God and guide the way. The experiences and songs God has given him are far above what he could ever image. ALBUM NAME - Where did the 'B.S.' concept come from? Jerome's desire to take back everything the enemy has destroyed or taken from us, including the way we communicate to one another, is what sparked the renaming or redefining of the term 'Full of B.S.' The meaning of 'B.S.' as the world knows it has changed in Jerome's heart. The acronym is now known as 'Bible Scripture.' 'If you tell me I'm full of B.S., I will thank you for reminding me that I'm full of what is true, 'God's Word.' Yes I do know what is stands for in the life of the world. Part of keeping it real is not acting naive and turning a blind eye--as if being aware of these types of things make you less of a believer. But as true believers we should know about them and make a difference." says Jerome. The album title holds it's weight as Jerome tries to keep the Word well involved in the lyrics of every song HIStory After graduating from high school in 1997, Jerome relocated from Dallas Texas (where he had spent the majority of his childhood) back to Southern California (where he was born). God wasted no time getting a hold of Jerome in early 1998 where the recommitment of his life to God took place. It was then the doors started opening. In a testimony of it's own, God put the "Full of B.S." album together. This took Jerome through a complete faith-driven journey that still continues to this day. In his opinion it is just really beginning. TESTimony At rock bottom and struggling with internal torture, Jerome cried out to God in the middle of the night. 'Go to church,' is all he heard, and in complete doubt he followed the call. Sitting all alone in a dark sanctuary in Southern California during the late hours of the night, Jerome's life would be totally transformed. It was there Jerome experienced a spiritual encounter. His encounter with good and evil tossed him through intense levels of personal battles and spiritual encounters that ended with God sitting next to him and revealing His presence. 'When I hit rock bottom that is exactly what I found, my Rock, Jesus Christ who had been waiting there for me the whole time. I want to let others know that I may have had to find God at the bottom, but they don't. He is at the top, bottom, and all that is in between. Any time you are ready, you can stop and join the true purpose and destiny He has designed for your life.' Jeremiah 29:11 Recently, Jerome has entered the new journey of marriage and is blessed to have his wife, Tracy, a true woman of God (with her own powerful testimony) by his side in fulfilling what he now calls, 'Their destiny together as God allows it.' James 4:13-17 visiON When asked about record sells... Jerome states, 'If I can sell a million records or above and hit the industry's platinum status, I would obviously be grateful, but along with that I see something else." A million records sold in Jerome's mind is also a million seeds planted in souls that God can water and work with. He looks at the platinum status now and respells it 'PLANT'INUM and defines it as 'PLANT-IN-THEM' STATUS. As far as his title as a rap 'entertainer' he also likes to believe he can be a rap 'enter-seeder.' Jerome 'KEEPS IT REAL' and honest saying he always enjoys the entertaining part of what he does. He wants to produce music with catchy lyrics and hot beats that make you want to have fun and dance, but that can come and go. Sowing into someone's life with the gift of entertainment and helping them turn 'ON' their 'VISION' (hints: visi-on) is forever. Future The music of 3rd E' Ryz has been an up-hill climb, but the overwhelming response to the album and the various age groups taking interest in his music has been a blessing well worth the wait. And with no end in site, God continues to open the doors and hearts of all in the strive to hit the 'PLANT'INUM' status. Colossians 3:16.
