Description

MUSIC FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION on Columbia Records. It marks the band's 15th studio album and their first studio album of all-new material in 11 years. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and at the band's studio in Massachusetts; it was produced by Jack Douglas, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, with the exception of three tracks produced by Tyler and Marti Frederiksen. MUSIC FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION presents AEROSMITH in ferociously fine form and at the peak of their powers. They're the only band of their stature with all-original members and who are playing better than ever have before. The album abounds with one highlight after another, including "Out Go The Lights," "Oh Yeah," "Luv XXX," "We All Fall Down," "Street Jesus" and "Can't Stop Loving You," on which Tyler duets with Carrie Underwood. The album also includes "Freedom Fighter" which features Johnny Depp on backing vocals.

      Not quite Rocks or Toys in the Attic but, a great improvement over the last two albums, even Nine Lives. The faithful and newcomers will both love it. I don't regret buying the Deluxe version and the extra content is worth it.

          If you hated I don't want to miss a thing and had given them up as a bad joke despite your love of their past glories, then don't be afraid to give this one a try. They can still rock like trouble-free youths and nobody sings like Mr Tyler! Make sure you get the version with bonus cd and dvd!

                "Music from another dimension" has all the elements that have made Aerosmith the biggest and better Hard Rock band ever. Songs like "Luv XXX", "Legendary Child" or "Out go The Lights" have the same vibe than their late 80's and early 90's hits, "Street Jesus" and "Lover Alot" are pure 70s Aerosmith and "Freedom Fighter" is another great rock song singed by Joe Perry. Regarding the ballads & slow ones, "I can't stop loving you" has a good country vibe that remains to "what it takes", "Another Last Goodbye" has the magic touch of Desmond Child and an impressive vocal interpretation by Steven Tyler. "Tell Me" and "Closer" are also fabulous songs.
                On the other hand, maybe they have put too many slow songs on the album, I wouldn't include "We all fall down" or "What could have been love", they are good songs, but on the overall too many slow songs cut a bit the rythm of the album.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
