I thoroughly enjoyed this album.Like most of Bowie's music,it seems to get better the more it's played. Musically varied, although many of the lyrics are quite dark. Different tracks had a little flavour of some of his earlier albums. If you enjoy Bowie's work buy this-you won't regret it.

One of the true great artists and inovators. This album probably wont become one of his classics but its still better than most artists can deliver. That he can still do this after 40 plus years and keep it a secret is testament to the genius of Bowie. Want more - check out the five years documentary.

Few times have i actually bought a new Bowie LP, well i did back in the day but this one was a must, alright there are a few tracks on it the are a bit odd but overall its back to the old days when Bowie was King.
In this case he may only be King for a day.
Ovell good but after a while it may just be part of my Bowie collection.

Being in my 50's I was listening to Bowie's best in the seventies. This new album takes a lot of plays to get into it but once you are there it is excellent. However as with all older artists new music it will be all to soon relegated into storage.

To say that Bowie is a revered genius is to sell him short. He has influenced popular music for over 40 years, (and he deserves to be forgiven for the abomination of Dancing in the Street.) This new release came out of the blue, and is deserving of a place in his CV. With the exception of one or two ordinary songs, the album is a solid body of work, giving fans the much-missed opportunity to revel in a new product from Bowie. It may take a couple of listens to get into, but it's well worth the perseverance. Good stuff.
