The rumbling, acid-scorched songs culled from these sessions with the late John Peel and the BBC's Radio One are uniformly thick and heavy explorations into a deep cosmic fog--crisply recorded in the studio, but with the fluid spontaneity of a live show. "Ways to Venus" features walls of fuzz and snaky electric leads, and "Sonic Titan" is a smoke-machine '70s arena blaster perfectly built for wafting out of a high-speed Camaro. Most of the songs come from their classic albums TO THE CENTER CHARGED.
