Description
Although a relatively early Pendragon album this is still a classic. It's a great chillout album full of long tracks with fantastic guitar passages and brilliant keyboards. The style in places is reminiscent of Floyd but incredible though it seems Nick Barrett's guitar playing makes the great Dave Gilmour sound like an amateur in comparison. The track 'Last Man on Earth' is probably the best individual Pendragon track ever and there are many other classics like 'Walls of Babylon'and 'Sister Bluebird'. The last four or five tracks are add-ons from other albums such as Fallen Dreams and Angels but are still good - especially 'Sister Bluebird'. Overall it's not quite on a par with the brilliant 'Not of this World' album produced many years subsequently but none the less has some of the most outstanding individual Pendragon tracks.
