Description
Starring: Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones, Cameron Mitchell, Barbara Ruick, Claramae Turner, Robert Rounseville, Gene Lockhart, Audrey Christie, William Le Massena, Susan Luckey and Jacques D'Ambroise. Carousel centres around the story surrounding two star-crossed characters, after one is accidentally killed in a robbery attempt, and is allowed to return to Earth for one day and redeem himself by helping those he left behind. Like the other two shows in this release, the musical, the second in the R&H canon, yielded many famous songs.
