Satan Drives a Pontiac
With rhythms pounding like a universal heartbeat, riffs wide enough to bridge galaxies and vocals that give a plantery punch leaving souls with a nose-bleed, 'Agent, Red' are a fresh combination of hardcore punk assertiveness with a heavy dose of rock sludge. Agent, Red formed in March 2007 in the blistering blue dry climate of Perth, Western Australia following a telephone conversation regarding the making of Motorhead's Album, 'Ace of Spades'. The feelings were mutual, the deal was done. In 2008 the Anglo-Australasian act recorded their sonically sizeable self-produced three-track debut EP, 'Satan Drives A Pontiac', with original singer, Laura VT. This followed a move to to Berlin, Germany for rehearsals and live work having recruited Neil Alkaff from London on Bass Guitar. With a move back to Australia in early 2009 to promote the finished EP the band has now returned to Europe with new German vocalist, Tobias Pitts. The Agents are currently writing and rehearsing new material and will be taking their intense live show out in to Europe later this year.
