Rituals & Ceremonies
AjAjA's first album 'Rituals & Ceremonies' is a tribute to pure nature and it is based on the harmony of the three profound elements of ritualistic music: human voice, wind instruments and drums. The wind instruments represent the celestial element and drums the earth below us. It is us human beings that will balance these two forces within us. This is why AjAjA's music has human voice as one of the instruments. Modern studio effects give their final touch to this beautiful, meditative album. In the booklet there is information on rituals and ceremonies. The total playing time of the album is 59:12. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 01 Opening Ceremony 3:01 An invocation to the Spirits of Music, a call for them to assist us in conveying the various aspects of rituals and ceremonies to the listener by means of music. 02 Rise 4:24 Rise is a ceremony to lift our spirits in order to perform the ritual that follows. 03 Praising the Sun and The Earth 4:57 Here we try to establish a balance between the depths of our minds and the exaltation of our souls.
