Never Too Late
Minister Alpheus Todman Introduction: Minister Alpheus Todman has resided here in Boston MA for the past 30 years. He's a native of the U.S. Virgin Islands. He lives here with his most beautiful wife, Pastor Dorreth Goldson-Todman here in Boston. He's the father of four wonderful children, all blessings from the lord. God's Calling: At the age of twenty-one he gave his heart to the lord and experienced the baptism of the holy spirit at the Church of God of Prophecy, in St. Thomas. His passion for evangelizing led him to hold the position of Sunday School Teacher, where he got the opportunity to minister to countless children, sharing the joy of his salvation. Those early years of reading his bible and creating classroom plans and curriculums greatly cemented his comprehension of the magnitude of the God whom he serves; building an everlasting foundation upon which God has launched him over the past two and a half decades. His calling was great and his commitment to that calling was unwavering. Within a year of his salvation, he was appointed as the Minister of Music where he directed the choirs and ministered to the hearts and souls of countless persons. It did not take long for others to realize the magnitude of his gifting. Serving God was his joy and doing so through music was and continues to be his passion. In 1989 Minister Todman was elevated to the position of State Wide Director of Music, here in MA, for the Church of God of Prophecy. He served in that position for 2 years, earning him the title of "The Godfather of Music"; a title which he still proudly holds. Since then he has continued with his ministry at the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Assembly as well as the Cambridge Community Outreach Ministry Center. Despite his many successes over the years, Minister Todman admits that he was still "restless" over time. He could not shake that constant tugging at his heart day in and day out; a "tugging" by God' for him to be in a "higher place" with God. In 2004 he met Pastor Dorreth Goldson and wedded her in 2005. Of this union he states: "I knew God was calling me to a higher place. When I met my wife in 2004, that calling became clear". In September of 2006 Minister Todman and his wife launched Shekinah Glory Ministries and has since been seeing God work in miraculous ways as he brings them both to a "higher place.
