Austin's Amanda Kai is known for her versatility on the harp. Although classically-based, she also performs a wide variety of styles, including pop and movie themes, jazz standards, international pieces, and religious songs. Amanda's style is best reflected in her debut album, 'Beautiful Impressions'. Released in December of 2007 (as Amanda Woosley), it features several classical favorites, such as 'Claire de Lune' and 'Prelude in C', 'Sea Anemones', and other impressionistic themes, favorite hymns, and an original piece by Amanda called 'Enchanted Garden'. All of the songs chosen have a personal significance to Amanda, and with the album footnotes, are her way of sharing a part of her life with her fans. Amanda's music has been gracing audiences for over a decade in her performances at weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, and other special occasions. Her talents have taken her to both sides of the globe, including Tokyo and cruising the Trans-Atlantic and Caribbean aboard the Queen Mary 2. She has worked with many notable artists and groups including Josh Groban and Il Divo. Amanda lives in Austin, TX with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.
