I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age while attending the Missionary Plantation Bible Camp in Marion, NC. I attended Ben Lippon School, a Christian prep school in Asheville, NC. It was there that I began playing the guitar and writing songs. In 1984, I joined a family oriented country music show that traveled all over North America. After two years of being on the road, I left the traveling band to work in Atlanta Georgia. While living in Atlanta, I attended the North Atlanta Bible Chapel and felt that God was calling me into full time Christian service. In 1990, I accepted the call to become a camp missionary at New Life Bible Camp, a position I still hold today. The camp cannot afford to pay the missionaries salaries so each one of us has to raise our own support. The Lord has blest me with the partnership of local churches and individuals who support the camping ministry. The ability to play the guitar and to write music has been a huge asset to the ministry of New Life Bible Camp and has opened many doors for me to meet and minister throughout the Northeast area. I am often asked to sing, speak and/or teach Bible for local churches and youth groups. My latest project, "Carpenter" is filled with songs that speak of the truth of who God is. My earnest hope is that these songs will encourage listeners and lead them into a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
