David's broad ministry of liturgical music includes directing and teaching, as well as serving on the faculty of the Boston College Graduate Program for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry. Anne Marie David (USA) is a Boston-based pianist and singer/songwriter who has independently released six albums. Her angelic voice and inspired piano playing were apparent in her childhood in rural Minnesota. The third of ten children who accompanied their mother, a parish music leader, David showed her independence in soaring adaptations of church piano standards - a trademark of her early self-produced solo piano albums, which include 'The First Morning,' 'Here I Am, Lord,' and 'Prayer of St. Francis.' A graduate of Berklee College of Music, David is the composer of multiple piano scores published by religious presses including Augsburg Fortress Publishers and Abingdon Press. Her broad ministry of liturgical music spans from local to international, from serving as Music Director at her church to performing on CatholicTV, reaching listeners on television and the web. She is a faculty member of Boston College's Summer Institute in the School of Theology and Ministry. David's music has been used in documentary films and can be heard on Whisperings Radio.
