Miracle of Love
Arie Gray Vocalist, choir director, pianist, composer and arranger, Arie Gray, (aka Arie Dell) a gospel musician in the Washington, D.C. area, ministers and inspires all who hear her sing. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was reared in St. Louis, Missouri, and later, District Heights, Maryland. Arie is a graduate of Hampton Institute and the University of Maryland. She is the co-director of the Sargent Gospel-Aires gospel choir, who have performed throughout the Washington D.C. area. Arie gives all glory to almighty God for her first solo CD project entitled "Miracle Of Love". She especially dedicates this project to her mother, the late Bertha Johnson, who died suddenly, one week after Arie delivered premature twin girls. Personal tragedies and physical pain during Arie's life helped inspire her music. She has been the victim of at least seven car accidents. Her last accident resulted in her having to have neck surgery, from which she faced the possibility of permanent hoarseness. The chokers she wears symbolize those she wore to hide her scar. They now serve as reminders of God's healing. She balances a life of music, work, and is the wife of Spirit Of Truth Christian Church's founder and pastor, Minister Charles Gray. She is the mother of a son, a Howard University freshman communications student, and identical twin daughters, who have an auditory related disability affecting their speech. Her daughters sing the background vocals for the song, 'A Father's Love'. Through it all, God is a "waymaker". Her music and it's message is that God, through Jesus Christ, will never leave you nor forsake you!
