Originally recorded in 1996, remastered in 2009. This was an important album for me and marked twenty years of recording. I'd come a long way from the days of the esoteric folky, but Comin Thru included many of the elements and styles I'd acquired over the years. I had help again from several contributors: Stephane Meszaros co-wrote and played guitar on 'Blue Star', while Jose Sierra and Jackie Schuler performed backing vocals on 'There With Me'. Tony Paduano delivered background vocals on 'The Computerized Man'. A sidebar to that song: it was originally called 'The Transistorized Man', a title taken from a watch ad back when I was a kid. I brought it up to date with a title change, but otherwise, this song is exactly the same as it was when I first wrote it -- my 2nd song ever at the age of 15. I dedicate it to my grandmother who always encouraged me -- until she died, it was her favourite among the songs I'd written. Thanks also to Ken Kolynchuk, who knew the original and jammed on it back in the day. I remembered his encouraging words when I decided to record it for this album.
