Originally released in 1998, this CD was remastered in 2008. Many of these songs are ancient, never recorded, even in demo, but played whenever I picked up an acoustic guitar, and so, remembered. With this album, I dug deep into my past, working on songs that had lain dormant for years. Some of my earliest 'folk' songs were finally recorded, along with some new material that had me really excited. I had a lot of help with this project: Peter Patrick played guitar on 'Wild in The Wind', Michael Golden contributed keyboards to 'Something Inside' and 'Make a Move', Jose Sierra and Kim Hoefling helped with backing vocals, Joe Pacheco surprised us all with a mandolin solo on 'Willie's Song'. For the first time, my son, Oliver, got in on the action singing backing vocals on 'Willie's Song', and the album's title song. I believe he was about 7 at the time. He helped me on my next album too, and, of course, he appears on the current album, 'Half Ton Truck'.
