BIO- Dr. Bernice Heller-Lee Dr. Lee, a graduate of Wayne Memorial School of Practical Nursing, received a Bachelor of Art in Sociology at Elizabeth City State University, Master of Education at Cambridge College, and A Doctorate of Science at Universities Alliance. She's Chief Executive Officer/Owner of Roanoke Valley Special Services, a Mental Health and Behavioral Agency Garysburg, NC. Founder of The Garden of Edenn Foundation Non-profit (Tax exempt 501( 3) (C ). She's born to the late Preston Lee Heller and Louella Marshall- Heller parents of 16 children. Her most memorable moment: Growing up as a little girl singing during church services, appearing on local talent shows in her home town of Baxley, Ga. Her mother would have her and her sister stand before the congregation every Sunday morning and sing. They were called the Heller Girls. Often they were required by mother to practice singing in the front yard in front of judge who were neighbors and their pastor. She recalls spending many days and nights during fasting and praying prior to big events (such as Homecoming, Family and Friends, or Convocation services). Upon completion of High School she entered the US Army where she served 20 years. Upon retirement in 1994 she met and married her husband Rev. Elbert Earl Lee during a family and friends program at a church in Drewville, Va. It was love at first sight. Although, there is been hills and mountains to climb. She believes keeping God centered she can over come any obstacles that may block her pathway. As an Executive Producer she have been inspired by God to write songs titled, When We Pray, All That You Need is Jesus In Your Life, God Will Take Care of You, Let Us Worship Him, and Walk With Me Lord. She gives thanks to God Almighty for using her in a mighty way to minister to the hearts of people through singing. Her prayer is that God will keep her humble in doing His will and not be puffed up where He can not use her. In God she will always put her trust.
