Moonlight & Love Songs
These songs are all about love: love sought, love lost, love discovered, and love remembered. Writter mainly for the musical theatre or film, most have already survived for more than half a century, winning their place in what has become known as The Great American Songbook. These songs are now in the company of the great 19th Century love songs of Schubert and Schumann. I hope that, 'never out of date,' they will survive and continue to resonate in melody and feeling. Bob Cohen began singing as a boy soprano with what is now The American Boychoir. Ultimately a tenor, in his college years he sang with Cornell's Cayuga's Waiters. Later establishing Stardust Cabaret, to present the treasure trove of 20th Century American popular song, Bob Cohen has entertained audiences at cabaret venues in Manhattan, Philadelphia, New Hope, and in his home base in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. Enjoy!
