Growing up on a farm in western New York state, Bobbe learned to love music, animals and anything that could be driven or flown, and the faster, the better. He grew up in a musical family. His grandmother taught piano and his grandfather played mandolin. His father was a music professor at New York State Teacher's College and the leader of his own big band. His mother taught piano and sang in his father's band. His Uncle Ken was a music teacher and violin player. His Uncle Doug was a professional steel guitar player who traveled all over the world. Bobbe recalls, 'I knew I wanted to make music my life and I'm not the kind of person to do anything half-heartedly.' Rhythmatic is proof of that!
