Product Notes

Bobhowla is primarily Southport troubadour Howard Doupe. A singer/songwriter for the honest generation. With the help of the rotating group of musical contributors he is blindly strumming, hollering, hitting, twanging, plucking and tooting his way across the Merseyside musical landscape. Howard has the knack of blending a melody with a few words and a wedge of sound to create something of his own doing - making music - the most widely recognised of all the creative talents! He has released two EPs over last few years, and in 2007 released his first album's worth of material entitled '14 track demo' which was 5 years in the making. His craft has been fine-tuned through playing live in and around the Northwest for the last 7 years which has taken in gigs at festivals, lounges, living rooms, bars, clubs, church halls, birthday parties, gum splattered pavements, many support slots and some slots being supported. Bobhowla's second album entitled 'It's all in the Letter That Broke You Down' was released January 2009 and has so far managed to raise a few eyebrows and curl many a smile...
