One of the most succesful version for George Michael's favorit 'Last Christmas'. BTH is the first latvian band ever entered UK's single chart Top 100 with this single. Still one of the favorites in many countries across the Christmas time. Biography Founded in 1997 by producer Ralph McCool. BTH was formerly known as Braithouse. In 1999 leading singer Ian Greenwald joined this project and since then BTH has become the pride of Latvian dance music scene. In 1999 BTH signed agreement with major Latvian record company 'Microphone Records' and the same year their debut single 'Come With Me' was released and that was the first time ever any Latvian house track was released abroad. Single reached several dance club charts and has been released in the Baltic States as well as Germany (BMG) and Greece (EMI). In the year 2000 first album 'In Da' Mix'(Microphone Records) was released. This was a joint venture album where songs of BTH were mixed together with tracks from project 'Tune-L'. This album received 'Latvian Music Award' for the 'Best Dance Album 2000' but the track 'Hold Me Tight' by Tune-L from this album reached 'Best Dance Track 2000'. In 2001 singles 'So Much Fun' and 'Save The Flame' were released in several European countries. Good airplay in Baltic States, Greece, Ukraine, Byelorussia and Finland were reached. BTH has also started to perform live on several dance events together with 5 dancers. The same time tracks 'So Much Fun' and 'I Gocha' appears on the first Latvian dance vinyl E.P 'Latvian Dance Allstarz'. During the past 3 years lot's of remixes have been done for the various bands and artists like Latvian superstars 'Brainstorm', Swedish upcoming stars 'Standfast' as well as new Latvian rising stars Linda Leen, Little Gunnar and Yana Kay. These mixes have been included as a bonus tracks in the singles of all the above-mentioned artists, which have been released all across the Europe. No doubt that BTH is the best-known and prestigious name among all the other dance producers in the Baltic countries. Last Christmas A&R of the Microphone Records asked BTH to try to make cover version for famous WHAM! Track 'Last Christmas' just as a Christmas present for it's clients. For a long time there were discussions weather or not to go with this, however, finally the cover was done. First of all it was sent as a present to friends and through them it got on some radio stations in the Baltic countries. The result was fantastic! Tracks reached # 1 in Latvian airplay 2000 during the Christmas period and fantastic feedbacks from various industry peoples, so Microphone Records decided to go ahead with this track as the commercial release in 2001. Single 'Last Christmas' were released in UK and reached UK singles chart #93. Also single were released in Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland and many other countries. Video were playlisted on MTV Hits UK, Viva and MTV 2 Germany, Viva and MTV Poland and many others.
