Inspired by a diverse collection of influences, Buzzfactor has taken hard rock to a new level. Simultaneously cutting edge and classic, Buzzfactor's music grinds with classic rock appeal, punk rock energy and an organic melody driven pop sensibility. Lead singer Gene Devereaux's soaring soulful vocals are reminiscent of Paul Rogers and Robert Plant, without all the theatrics. Guitarist Dusty Dobbs shreds like Randy Rhoads, and writes dirty, heavy riffs which give the overall hard rock feel a refreshing twist. On bass, The Willis approachs the low end with the aggressive punk rock attack of Paul Simonon of the Clash, but keeps the groove sexy with a rock solid range of dynamics and a deadlock with drummer Terry Rosback. A jazz trained drummer, Rosback gives the band a slight swing feel, and demands body movement, with immense technical proficiency and style. Together, Buzzfactor is recreating hard rock in their image.
