'A Grateful Man' is Charlie's long-awaited debut CD, eleven songs recorded live in the studio with only a couple of overdubs and no punch-ins... just his mellow voice and old Gibson guitar. He has been performing as a singer-songwriter, musician and bandleader in the Seattle area since 1965. He's been priviledged to play for some great audiences over the years, as well as play with many fine local musicians (and a few famous ones, too). Charlie plays at many of Seattle's live music venues as well as fairs, festivals, house concerts, farmers markets, benefits for good causes, private parties and other events. He also performs for developmentally disabled adults and youth, assisted living patients, homeless men and women, teens with special needs, and seniors in the greater Seattle area. He is affiliated with Performing heArts, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-enriching performing arts experiences to audiences who are unable to access them on their own. He is one of their favorite performers and serves on their Board of Directors.
