Child Hope Project 2008
The Child Hope Project is an eclectic musical collaboration of several artists in the Middle Tennessee coming together to raise proceeds for the Child Hope Orphanage in Zambia, Africa. Every effort put into this project was donated by those involved, with no cost. The music featured on this album has countless hours of passion invested in every song that will please any listener. All of the proceeds raised from the sale of this CD will go directly to the orphanage. The producer of this album, Brandon Lee, first became involved with the Child Hope Orphanage through unordinary circumstances. He and his wife Nicole sent a 'shoebox' gift through Operation Christmas Child in December of 2003. Four months later, a letter was received from a family in Zambia, Africa. They were the Silwamba family, who were investing their life with orphans in the community. When Brandon met them, they had taken in 18 orphans from the street. Their local church here in Tennessee (LBC), was able to contact Zambian missionaries near the Silwamba family in order to confirm the needs of the Silwamba's ministry. Since 2003, Brandon's home church, LBC, has supported this overseas orphanage through several gifts including mattresses, clothes, education, and food. The people here in Tennessee have been so giving. We hope this album in only the first of many more projects to come. Not only is the music purely enjoyable, a deeper purpose exists to bring glory to God. The ultimate goal would be to build a new orphanage in Zambia for Child Hope. Your support of this CD will ensure that hope will continue to live in the hearts of these children.
