Long Way Home
Born and raised in North West NSW, Australia. Col began playing music with his mates at Woolshed Dances & Parties before moving to the "Big Smoke" Sydney in the mid 70's. This started a long career playing 5-6 nights a week on the Pub & Club circuit touring occasionally with many top line artists. Cols band was named "Rahzoo" which played all sorts of different music, whatever was required on the night. Rahzoo still has fans to this day. With live music venues slowing down in 1987 due to the disco era, Col took a short break from music whilst running his company and raising his family. In 2003 he was invited to perform at various charity concerts & fundraisers which re-ignited his passion for music & performing which led to the production of this CD which was recorded and produced with his mate Al Morgan who also plays lead guitar on most of the tracks. Cols five original songs on this album go from the blues in "I Still Cry a Little" to the swing sound of "In a While" to the haunting sounds of "Gyspy in My Blood" to the happy cruising beat of "The Wrong Way" to the track that the CD is named after "The Long Way Home" a story song. PUMP IT UP AND ENJOY.
