Confusion About Weather, a five piece rock band based in Philadelphia, was formed in 2004 by James Hearne and Dan Drago. Having collaborated on and off since 1995, they sought a full band to complete the handful of songs they wrote and demoed in their South Philly basement studio. Through relentless searching, they found Ned Luce (bass) and Lee Kellner (keys), and started playing the local scene, with James on guitar and Dan a reluctant and slightly competent drummer. After a few shows, the band recruited Anthony Depoti to drum, returning Dan to his native guitar. Now a five piece, the band spent most of the summer of 2006 crafting their debut EP, "Oxygen Shop," in the freedom of more basement studios. After a few false starts and unscheduled delays (marriage, childbirth, corporate depositions), C?AW spent the fall, winter, and into the New Year captivating audiences in Philadelphia and New York City, building a following and refining their sound into a sinewy, atmospheric blend of Rock, Electronic, R&B, and Pop. With plans for a full-length release in August and dates up and down the East Coast in the fall, Confusion About Weather continues to hone it's chops in anticipation of the road ahead.
