Heard the News
Cuda hales from the heart of N.Y.C as a writer, producer, musician and actor just to name a few. As a son of a preacher, he has shown the ability to jam on any platform, whether it be in churches or nightclubs. At the age of seven, Cuda had an interest in piano. His parents saw the potential and gave him piano lessons. Well, years later it paid off. By the age of 16, Cuda started his first R&B band. Through years of striving, he began to realize his dream. He completed his 1st CD titled 'SERIOUS' in 2000. It received small but powerfully rave reviews. It caught the attention of a few stations, and received airplay from NYC to Georgia and over in Japan. He was featured in Mr B- Ragtime, an off Broadway musical about the life and times of Cab Calloway, Billie Holiday and others of that time. Continuing to play small nightclubs, theatres and wherever he can be showcased, Cuda woos the ladies. In the year 2002 Cuda decided to return back to the studio to put together a project befitting for this time. His new CD 'HEARD THE NEWS', a funky powerhouse joint will certainly have you swaying. There's a song written 10 years prior but certainly parallel to the 9/11 tragedies. His sound is a combo of R&B, pop, funk, and lite jazz. With his sultry tenor voice, Cuda definitely will be seen and heard. His intentions is to create a product tailored to meet the needs of the Ladies and Gentlemen in all walks of life. His music promotes a positive image with lyrics of drug-free living, education, and most importantly, love; something everyone can identify with. Cuda feels it's his duty as an artist to provide great music with a positive message.
