Stained Glass Eyes
Where you are today is not a single place, but the culmination of everything before and the anticipation of everything yet to be. Dan's been to the usual places - and then some. He'll probably go somewhere else tomorrow. It seems like only yesterday that Dan explored the Boston Music scene in college bands such as Scarlet Reign and T.C. Mann. Following his local success, Dan chose to strengthen his voice and enhance his performance skills - all while seeing Southern California for free - by playing several leads in a musical touring company. Those who saw Dan's tour will never forget his performance as Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol' or his nefarious Long John Silver in 'Treasure Island.' Dan feels that to be a well-rounded musician/performer, you should constantly be educating yourself in your craft. So he settled in Los Angeles to further study voice and guitar. He also chose to attend the L. A. Recording Workshop understanding that a recording career can only benefit from knowledge of the mechanics of the recording process. That knowledge also led to gainful employment in the recording industry. He engineered at Doglite Studios in exchange for the opportunity to produce his own CD. And then worked as Head Recording Engineer at Paradigm Studios with artists such as Mother, Rob Sweet (formerly of Stryper) and Jon Christ (formerly of Danzig). In the meantime, Dan was also hard at work performing with the L.A. band No Outlet as they played heavily throughout Los Angeles. Concurrently, Dan promoted his Solo CD - Eclection. In fact, Dan left full-time association with Paradigm to promote Eclection. Eclection has helped Dan reach an entire new audience. It has received airplay in Greece, and is currently being played in Britain by Future Music and Hardcore Fever. Dan released his second CD - 'Haunted.' This collection of acoustic rock songs received airplay on Evolution Radio, where the tracks 'Mad October' and 'All Tears' were in the top ten most requested for several weeks. 'Mad October' even broke into the number one spot for over a week. Dan's latest release 'Stained Glass Eyes,' brings Dan back to a 'full band.' 'I'm really excited about these new songs,' says Beers. 'I believe this is the best work I've done to date.' Beers once again gives us music that speaks from the heart. Memorable choruses and soulful lyrics from this collection of rock songs will leave you tapping your foot and singing along. This 11 song CD will haunt you as it's emotional songs of love - lost and found - touch your soul. Enjoy!!
