I learned how to sing at church and there are strong traditional harmonies throughout my music. I hope the listener can feel the sense of humility that I wanted to reflect in this project. I still get choked up sometimes when I sing 'Come Unto Me' at concerts. I think the album is reverent without being boring. The overall pace is certainly upbeat with moments for peaceful reflection and awesome wonder at the majesty and sacrifice of our Lord. The last song 'My Times Are In Thy Hands' tips my hand and shows my roots. However, 'I would' exclaims with a more contemporary feel my willingness to serve and do anything for God. Even though I fail and give in to the temptations of this world by doing 'Things I Despise', in the end I know it's going to be a 'Beautiful Day'. Thanks for taking an interest in my CD. Dan Malone.
