Daniels and McManus play a variety of traditional Irish music, from Ceili dance, to ballads! Having each grown up within musical families, John and Perry were inspired to express their love of their heritage through traditional folk music. John McManus, a fourth generation fiddler, has been active in traditional fiddling since 1964. His influences being his Grandfather- James McManus, and old time fiddle legend Denny Clifford, who remains a major influence to this day. John has toured with numerous bands throughout the Northeast and Canada and now makes his home in upstate New York. Perry has been involved in music since the age of ten, being influenced by his Grandfather, Father and many friends over 30 years. Most recently, he has performed as the singer, and the center of a local Irish band in Berkshire County, MA. where he makes his home with his wife and two Sons. Perry's percussive guitar style and smooth vocals provide a solid rhythm for John's fiddle, and driving tenor banjo.
