Darryl Terrell â€œMagic Motionâ€ The sensual flamboyant saxophone player, Darryl Terrell, with his CD â€œMagic Motionâ€. Darryl Terrell comes on the music seen with twenty years of music experience. His love of the saxophone started at the tender age of five years old. Darryl was raised and guided by his great grandmother, Lorraine Willis. Darryl acknowledges that she has been a profound influence in his life. Also, the support of his siblings has given him endurance power. As with most aspiring black artist, Darryl remembers his early beginnings of playing the saxophone in church at Christ Community Temple in St. Louis Mo. That foundation has given him a strong faith in God. One of Darrylâ€™s early recordings was with the Braxton Quartet. Darryl and Friends a well known band around the St. Louis area, have played with numerous artist such Julius Williams. He has been opening acts for Vesta Williams, Gerald Austin, Ready for the World, Shirley Murdock, and Karen White to name a few. His CD â€œMagic Motionâ€ consist of a combination of Latin, Jazz, Gospel and R&B Compositions. Darrylâ€™s fiery, soulful, rocking groove brings new rhythms to what we know as contemporary jazz.
