David Dault recently moved to Nashville after spending a decade in the Atlanta music scene. He plays guitar (loud), plays piano (pretty), plays banjo (poorly), writes songs and sings. He also writes songs with the amazing and multitalented Thad Thompson, who plays bass in Atlanta band the Shut-Ups. David's music draws from folk, 'college rock', 'math rock', and experimental jazz to form a style that is at once engaging and inventive. A longtime favorite with fellow musicains and fans alike, he has made his mark in clubs across the southeast with his painterly, expressionistic lyrics and distinctive guitar phrasings.
