Comments on David Coate: 'Who is David Coate?' ...I hear you ask. Well, you may not be familiar with the name yet, but I predict within a short time you and everyone else who listens to Christian music will. David Coate sounds like a cross between Mark Farner and Greg X. Volz [Petra], and he can really belt out a tune! Coate's music is unique, and that's one of the things that makes this new... release special. It's a versatile fusion of Rock, Jazz, and R&B that gives 'Still Small Voice' a sound all it's own.' Budd Fredericks-- Around the Trax WFGB/WLJP FM, NY 'Solid pop/rock interspersed with adult contemporary and Jazz styles keep the momentum going throughout all eleven tracks.' --Christian Happenings Magazine 'We've loved working with the David Coate Group. They have an anointed ministry and their love for the Lord is evident in every aspect of their performance.' --Mylon LeFevre 'One of New England's strongest and most accessible artists... they have a lot to offer.' --Dan Russell, New Sound Concerts, Inside Out Soul Festival, Boston 'Plenty of solid rock material here; the group shows no squeamishness about pulling out all the stops when the Spirit moves them.' --CCM 'The quality of their music, combined with the sincerity of the gospel presentation, has made them very effective in reaching non-Christians as well as Christians. --Paul Borthwick, Assoc. Pastor, Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA 'I wholeheartedly recommend them as a group you can trust.' --Tom Taylor, Asst. Dean of Students, University of Lowell, Lowell, MA 'The David Coate Group is impressive!... I heartily recommend them.' --Brad Stamm, Creation Festival.
