In the first Deauwachado project, Rod Michaels teams up with Roy Mac, a guitar player he first met in 1970 while performing in the Tampa Bay music scene. Though the two grew up with different influences - Roy in Country and Rod in Classical - over the years their playing abilities grew to include Blues, Rock, Jazz, and more. This disk offers progressive instrumentals - spirited and impassioned. A July 22, 2005 review by pop critic Curtis Ross from the Tampa Tribune, highlights the blues opener, 'Old Man Blue', to the 'tender' 'China Doll' and a 'majestic' 'Sandstone'. Rod Michaels is now preparing a solo Deauwachado release - keep an eye out for it. Make it a great day!
