Deidre's original writing is acoustic driven music crossing over between the genres of Acoustic Americana, Folk, and Blues as well as some traditional favorites. She is currently performing in the Flathead Valley and surrounding areas promoting her debut album "Lost Prairie".......... Deidre Pearl Heaton was born in Boston, 1975 and was raised a farm girl with four siblings in the hub of Maine. Music has always been a part of her life; going to Bluegrass Festivals as a young girl, school choir, and band. She picked up the guitar in college, started writing songs and performing at college clubs. In 1995, Deidre moved to where she still resides in the mountains of Montana. She gradated from the University of Montana in Missoula with a degree in Music Education. Currently, Deidre is teaching in Marion, at Montana Academy and enjoys bringing music to the lives of adolescents.
