Full Speed Ahead
Donnie Saah just released his first album, Full Speed Ahead, which he co-produced. The song that has the most meaning to him is one he wrote the lyrics to called, 'I'm Sorry.' Donnie is 19 years old, born in Maryland on March 17, 1985. His desire and career objective is to become a professional singer. His interest in music began in grade school and as long as he can remember, he has always loved to sing. His music teachers in elementary and middle school recognized his natural talents early on and told his mother that he was gifted with a voice which will take him far. Donnie has been approached by and worked with several talent scouts/producers on the East and West Coast. While in California, at the age of 16, he won first place in a very competitive local talent show sponsored by a radio station which captured an audience of over 300 people. A member of the audience was extremely impressed with Donnie's performance took him to a small local producer that same evening. The producer was very interested in working with Donnie but his family had to move back to Maryland shortly afterwards. Donnie has performed for large audiences in a number of talent shows, holiday functions, birthday parties, a charity function and church with large audiences. In high school, he and a female friend were referred to as the 'Singing Sensations.'
