Originally from London Ontario,Doug Mills cut his teeth in the late 1980\'s and early 1990\'s as the bassist for such cover bands as Toast and The Free Beer Band. In 1992,along with Fred Johnston,Rick Houlton and Jim Houlton Thundershack was formed. After slugging it out on the road and one independent release (1995\'s Thru The Kracks) the band had run it\'s course. Doug then took time off from the music scene to try different ventures and to organize a disshevelled life. Now,in 2008,residing on 100 acres in northern Ontario,he felt the time was right to release a collection of solo offerings in the form of THUNDERBOOGIE!. With influences ranging from Mozart to Zappa, the mostly instrumental CD,recorded in his home studio on a shoestring budget, will send listeners on a roller coaster ride of sound and emotion.
