Lack of Direction
A powerhouse quartet, Drop Dead Julio (ju-lee-oh) delivers fast harmony-driven rock that will have you singing along on the first listen and leave your ears begging for more. But the band's catchy songwriting is only part of what people like. DDJ also delivers a high-energy live show that's second to none...a "made-for-TV" visual performance. The audience is not just there to listen. They are a part of the show, participating with the band. And it seems to be working. In less than a year, Drop Dead Julio has gone from a basement in Magna to packing larger clubs in the Salt Lake valley. Venues repeatedly invite the band back. Clubs will also find that one of the benefits to having Drop Dead Julio play is the band's uncompromising work ethic. DDJ aggressively advertises EVERY SHOW with posters, radio promotions, and the internet. That kind of work ethic was also present in the studio as the band spent countless hours recording it's' album "Lack of Direction". DDJ wanted a strong first impression. The band members did not want to leave the studio until album sounded polished and ready for the radio. Several tracks from "Lack of Direction" have been played frequently on KBER 101 and X96 in Salt Lake City, and KROQ in Los Angeles. 2007 is an exciting time for Drop Dead Julio. The band is aggressively promoting it's' CD, and a new line of merchandise as it looks to take it's' music to a higher level. They would love it if you joined them for the ride.
