DXD was formed on the island of Wrangell Alaska for the purpose of getting some much needed aggression out and entertaining the locals with covers of Metallica, Judas Priest, and AC/DC to name a few. When the singer/frontman had a falling out with the bassist over a chic, the search was on for a replacement. The auditions exhausted the selection pool very quickly in the small town. DXD continued to play instrumental arrangements of their favorite covers and had written some originals with no lyrics or melodies. The female singer from a traveling cover band that had played in Wrangell several times decided to move there and fell in love with the guitarist of DXD. The band originally was very much against having a female singer but after having her get up and jam with them on some of the unfinished originals it was decided that they had found their new singer. After working on their originals and creating quite a buzz locally as a bar and party band, it was determined that going to the big city was the only way to do something serious with their music. Seattle was the closest and that's where they ended up. DXD has played every small famous and not so famous bar in the Puget Sound area. Their live performances break through the genres allowing them to play in the punk scene as well as the rock scene. The multi-influences really comes through in this four song disc. A funky, groovy, head banging ball of rock and roll is what you can expect from this hihgh energy group.
