Shift the Overdrive
Strong Stoner Rock background; solo recording artist with a leaning towards music created with a more immediate spontaneous energy. Lyrics tend to evoke realms of realism against a strong stoner rock backdrop. An underlying concept is the main thread through 'Shift The Overdrive' which has moments of dark and light which tells it like it is and combines elements of psychedelic and heavy metal rock. 'Shift The Overdrive' is best listened to in it's entirety to grasp the full Concept of the Album; with tracks such as 'God Created Butterflies' being a powerful statement in itself; along with the poetry and arrangement of 'The Ballad of Jim Morrison' being magically profound. The instrumental track 'Open Doors' follows a 'Pink Floyd' idiom which highlights the Artists creative ability on the synths with most of it improvised; capturing the moment. Eddie de Cazalet's second Album 'Mental Gravity' currently in the works will venture deeper into a sound similar to 'A Metal Pink Floyd with a touch of Nine Inch Nails' and some experimental 'Tool.' 'Shift The Overdrive' has an overall concept and underlying profound message; something that should be listened to. Alternative; unique and original. Album includes a foldout double sided Album sleeve; full lyrics and artwork. No cheap product. Tracks suitable for Film; Advertisements and individual downloads.
