EDITH BUCZEK is a singer living in Malmö,Sweden. As a teenager she begun with a sport dance and took part of several tournaments and competitions in standard and latin dances. It made her interested in swing music and all kind of vocal jazz .The singing became her passion.Her idols was Ella Fitzgerald,Peggy Lee, Doris Day,Chet Baker but even the bossa nova names like Gillberto's and Ellis Regina. She started singing with the semi-professional dance music groups and later one with professional groups playing jazz oriented music and pop covers at hotels,functions and private events . In the same time she continued studying jazz singing at Malmö Jazz Institute.She also join Polish jazz life by performing at jazz clubs,festivals,taking part of workshops arranged by Polish Jazz Association. She met a trombonist,keyboard,Hammond B-3 player and singer -BRUNO BUCZEK. As the one of the best European traditional and swing jazz trombonists ever he joined a several top groups making the concert tours and playing at number of classy hotels and cruise ships. He is mentioned in Tom Lord's World Jazz Discography. The cooperation was a succes. They use to be appreciate during their performances and are in great demand by venues like f ex Notwegian Cruise Line's flag ship 'Norwegian Dawn'(Carribean), Silja Line's 'Silja Opera'(Baltic See)and luxury hotels in Mediteraenien (f ex.Hotel Don Carlos,Marbella Spain ) and Middle East for creating a satysfying ambiance and versatile repertoire for audiences with every musical taste. The duo performed lately at 'Swing Jazz Tent' during the biggest culture event in Sweden-Malmö Festivalen. Edith's smooth and swinging voice together with Bruno's arrangemants is a trade mark of the duo.
