Keep on Climbin
Eric Thomas has been a featured vocalist at civic, religious and corporate events for more than 30 years. He began singing in the children's choir at Ebenezer Baptist Church where he sang his first solo at the age of seven. While in college he joined SCLC's Operation Breadbasket choir under the leadership of Rev. Jesse Jackson. It was in Operation Breadbasket's choir where he really began to grow as a vocalist. Eric traveled and recorded with Rev. Jackson's brother Chuck in a R&B group called the Independents. The group had one gold record entitled "Leaving Me". Eric traveled all over the world and had the opportunity to work with Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight & the Pips and many others. Eric's first love is gospel music and he just completed his first solo CD titled 'Keep On Climbin'. Eric can be seen on Rainbow PUSH's weekly international telecast where he continues to sing with choir he loves where it all began. It took a year to complete the selection of the songs that are included on this CD. Each song was chosen for it's message of hope, triumphant, faith and inspiration. Every songs says to us 'Yes We Can because He Will'. It is my hope that the songs on this CD uplift you and give you faith to go forward. Keep On Climbin everybody until you reach your goal, whatever that goal is. Your way may not be easy and your burdens not be light. He promised to see you through and he promised to provide. God Bless You All! Eric Thomas.
