Product Notes

Ernie Rushing is a professional contemporary Christian recording artist and a member of the Gospel Music Association who performs in churches and other venues across the Southeastern United States. Currently, he is touring while promoting the release of his second recording entitled, The End Of The Beginning. His first release, Rushing to Christmas, was released in his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina in 2000, and quickly became one of the city's Top Ten sellers of the Christmas season, outpacing such well-known artists as Garth Brooks and Celine Dion. Ernie's career provides him the opportunity to spread the Word of God everywhere he goes. He has shared his gifts with American audiences as well as thousands in the United Kingdom, performing in such ancient venues as Salisbury Cathedral in England and St. Paul's Cathedral in Wales. In April of 2004 Ernie was thrilled to be asked to open for Hall of Fame recording star Sandy Patti. Ernie is a 2004 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication, graduating with honors. He currently resides in North Carolina.
