Founded in 1999, the band released it's first CD entitled 'Everything is burning' in 2000. Following the good reviews, Exinferis toured through Europe and the UK to promote the CD. Shortly after they released two split cds, one on Skipworth Records entitled 'Exinferis analyzing Ganesha' and another on the American label Battlescarred Records. In 2004 Exinferis had to change their singer. This did not put the band on halt as a few months later they entered the Midas Studio in Belgium to record the highly acclaimed 'Defunctus in Heresi'. The good reviews focused the attention on Exinferis and put them on the metal map! After having played a lot of shows to promote 'Defunctus in Heresi', they decided in early 2007 to book studio time at the Rape of Harmonies Studio (Heaven Shall Burn, Maroon...) in Triptis to record 'Hidjama' with Patrick W. Engel and Alexander Dietz. The 'Hidjama'-sessions acted as the band's personal cleansing and put them back on track after some hard times and almost ten years of existence.
