The Face of Righteousness1, formerly known as Docta Peppa, the Jack of All Trade, is twenty-five year old Sagittarian, Kerland Brown. The rapper/singer hails from Rose Hill District in St. Mary, Jamaica. The Face of Righteousness1 latest offering "Gonna Be A Star" is a twin-pack CD/DVD, featuring one of Jamaica's fastest rising female singer, "Angel and "Omri" the seven year old rapping sensation. The track was co-produced by Delroy "Fatta" Pottinger and DJ O'Neil who are also credited as recording and mixing engineers. Computer Paul is the featured musician on the track. According to the Face of Righteousness1, "my spiritual connection with my music is the origin of the depths of my over standing. It is simple, effective and as close to perfection as possible. My intention is to perform a thorough job within the international music market towards global recognition." He also noted that "the message he has, must become an individual promise and a token to his audience, with the development of his God given talent. He feels that a genuine love for the music is instrumental for good, clean, conscious vibes as it speaks it's own "language of life". "My mood coincide with the changes of life, and as an entertainer, by performance, it must be an art and a science. The methodology of delivering my performance must be an orchestrated one, not void, but filled with audience expectation that will eventually bring forth satisfaction." The Face of Righteousness has been making a name for himself in Canada with some show stopping performances at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Club Paradise, Planet Africa, Jamaica Day, Cameron House, All White Affair, Culturefest, Town and Talk Restaurant and Bar, Club Mirage alongside Tanya Stephens, Half Pint, Anthony Malvo and Brigadeer Jerry. The Face of Righteousness1 has also shared the stage with The Prophet Capleton, Brigadier Jerry, Lukey D, Pinchers, and many more. While reflecting on the politics of music that has completely changed the game, he said, 'I'm not in the music business to compete. I am here to establish my own identity, be original and do things that no one else has ever done'.
