Days of My Youth
Born August 2, 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan he had taught himself how to play the guitar by age 10. His earlier influence would be country western singer/songwriter Hank Williams Sr. He was soon cutting his teeth on a blend of R&B, and pop jazz. Groups such as Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Steely Dan, and guitarist George Benson would help shape the sound that echoes from his 2006 debut CD titled Days of my youth. This CD is sure to satisfy you pop jazz listeners. From the song, In New Orleans which was written about the birth of jazz, to You have my love which has a more Bossa Nova flavor. The CD features tasty guitar lines and smooth vocals. He is currently working on a new CD which will feature about 7 new songs, and highlight the talents of some of LA's finest musicians. It's expected release he said is November of 2008. It's sure not to disappoint anyone.
