Felix has been playing guitar and singing and making songs now for about ten years. He writes about love, girls, friends, family... you know, stuff that´s happening in his life. And he writes something almost every day. A line, a phrase... sometimes a whole song. "If I hear something, a cool word, a stupid or funny line, you know, it can be anything - as long as it´s catchy in one way or the other - I try to nail it into one of my songs. But although I write a lot of new songs, most of them never end up on tape for everyone to hear. Hehe... So I guess I record a lot just for myself to grow on." Felix performs with his harmonica and acoustic guitar, dressed as a "cowboy", doing his own country-rock material. "I like hats and boots, and I play country and blues." Or he plays with band. In 2006 Felix went to Snaxville Studio where he recorded some songs together with Amund Maarud and The Grand. What a band! The result is his first EP, called 'felix ep'. This EP contains four songs plus a bonus track that was recorded live in the studio one day in late December. It´s called "Tight Helmet Blues", and here Felix sings about always being broke and hung over. It´s a funky, funny, Dylan-inspired song. In the future FELIX will be performing either alone or together with his band. The band members are known from Oslo-bands like Beezewax, Lu: d and Tommy Tokyo. Thanks for stopping by! Hope you can DIG IT!!
