Off the Mountain
The Foscoe Philharmonic has been together for 29 years. The unique sound that blends Violin and Viola with lush harmonies and rhythmic songs. The Foscoe Philharmonic always tries to make a smooth sound for relaxtion purposes. Off the Mountain does offer that solitude as well as songs that move along briskly to a light light Waltz. The Foscoe Waltz has graced many wedding lawns under the large oak tree and the perfectly manicured lawn. Fabian's Song is used for many exits at weddings as well. The name of Foscoe Philharmonic comes from small town in the mountains of western North Carolina. There was a very fine reatuarant that operated there called the Tack Room. The food was incredible and he had us as the live music. The waiters always said, 'Here comes the Foscoe Philharmonic' and the name stuck. The Foscoe Philharmonic have performed all over the state of North Carolina in restaurants with live entertainment, government functions that has included the previous Vice president of an earlier administration, and also weddings.
