Finding the Key
Four Stories: One Chapter at a Time In the beginning there were four; each member following a path that would lead them to a mutual destiny. And although this fate brought them immeasurable responsibility to the music world, they couldn't deny the challenge. Sir Alex, Sir David, Sir Patrick, & Sir Nicholas, are the founding members of Four Stories; an independent rock n' roll band from Richmond, VA who call their own shots, their own way. Forget all the standards set before you because this "Power of Four" leaves the clichés behind and goes straight for the jugular. From the moment their songs reach your ears it's an endless stream of timeless melodies and rhythmic punctuation layered with floating guitar lines and vocal harmonies the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Anberlin, or Coheed & Cambria. But it doesn't stop there for the harder side of 4S reminds listeners of bands such as Hoobastank, The Foo Fighters, & Nickelback, Even the occasional Bon Jovi & Matchbox 20 comparisons are a testament to the bands versatility. The debut album titled "Finding The Key," showcases the bands testament to their craft by delivering a complete set of instantly memorable, yet intricate tracks that guarantee to satisfy all levels of listening. "Broken Free," the first single off the new record exhibits a raw energy only noticed in a band who has found their true calling. It's a blistering three and a half minute surge of audio that will leave you thinking; "What just happened, and where can I get some more?!" And the good news is there's a lot more to this record than just ripping guitar parts and rapid drum firing. For every intense rock anthem on "Finding The Key," you'll find pop songs and ballad entries that rival or even surpass anything in it's category; past or present. But there is only one way to get the absolute experience from Four Stories. And that is to witness the act live on stage. If you come from the school that all things live should equal or crush the recorded equivalent; then look no further. F.S. lives to play live and it's the greatest reason why this band will leave a permanent mark when they decide to hang it up. But fortunately for us, that time is several chapters away.
