Voices from the Past
FOX created an immense following throughout New England, upstate New York, and Eastern Canada due to their incredible live performances. Widely recognized as the best unsigned band in New England, FOX's original tunes were memorized and lip-synced by the thousands of loyal fans they performed for each week. In response to their popularity, the band released two private label LP's and a single (receiving a Top Single Pick by Billboard) that completely sold out of print. Don Coulombe has been a drummer since he was ten. He is also a versatile composer and wrote all of the material that the band recorded along with his brother, Norm Coulombe. Don provided more than just the music for the band; he provided the inspiration and the leadership. Norm Coulombe is an experienced musician who plays several instruments. He not only played keyboards and guitar for the band, he also co-wrote some of the band's intense mellower tunes with his brother, Don Coulombe. Mike Galipeau played lead guitar for the band. In addition to exciting guitar solos, Mike's versatile singing voice helped to create that tight blend of vocal harmony that made the band so popular. Steve Galipeau played bass guitar and contributed greatly to the show. He utilized his wireless guitar to the fullest, while putting on an animated performance. Steve and Mike Galipeau are also brothers.
