Furkloven : When the Wind Dies Down
Furkloven, residing in the small town of Henderson, Texas, originally began when life-long friends, the Oliphint and Seelbach brothers decided to use music as a method of expressing their emotions and stepping away from their ordinary lives. After writing their first few songs, Furkloven crossed paths with Rhythm Guitarist, Joel Sadler, who soon completed the young, unique band we now know as Furkloven. Furkloven spent the summer of 2002 recording material from their debut album, which was released the following year. The album, entitled, ' When the Wind Dies Down ', presents twelve songs entailing a rare mix of raw emotion and musical talent. Independently selling the record in their hometown in East Texas, Furkloven sold an impressive 250+ copies within the first few days of sales. Determined to break into the music scene, this young band began touring all around Texas, creating a loyal following ranging from young children to middle aged adults. This band's catchy melodies, powerful lyrics, and charismatic aura attracts a very wide audience. Furkloven currently continues to sell their album independently, while also seeking a manager, producer, or label to aid in taking their music to the next level.
